Testimonials
For many years I had suffered from many frequent debilitating migraines. Throughout that time I went to a chiropractor, had acupuncture, controlled my diet to rule out any food intolerances and even tried Kinesiology and Indian head massage. None of them gave me any long term relief. I was then referred to Michelle, who before long had diagnosed what was causing my headaches. Gradually after several appointments I started to have fewer headaches. Now I rarely have a migraine at all and thanks to Michelle I have got my quality of life back.

I am a 51 year old businessman in generally good health. Four years ago after a period of intensive training for a half marathon I developed severe neck pain combined with some mild numbness down my left arm through to my fingers, leaving me unable to function properly, either at home or at work. After having an MRI scan my specialist believed that I would need to have surgery at the time which sounded very severe to me and something I was keen to avoid. Another doctor recommended physiotherapy so, on another recommendation, I asked Michelle if she would take me on. From my first assessment it was clear that Michelle was confident that physiotherapy combined with acupuncture would sort my problem and so it proved. After a few weeks of regular treatment the pain subsided completely and the numbness disappeared. I have continued since then with monthly treatments which helps keep me loose. I also took up intensive training again a year ago and completed another half marathon last month with no problems and I attribute this to the good work that Michelle has done.
I would strongly recommend Michelle to anyone who is having problems with their neck or back.

After ignoring a long standing knee injury, exacerbated by arthritis, my wife pressured me into seeking help.
Michelle Terrins was recommended by a friend who has a permanent neck problem as a result of a rugby injury.
Following initial investigation Michelle clearly identified and explained my problem and designed treatment and exercise to address it. This proved to have an immediate effect and after three treatment sessions and diligent attention to the prescribed exercises my knee problems have been dramatically improved
I am now walking almost normally and strength is returning to the affected knee.
My advice would certainly be to seek early help with such conditions and would not hesitate to recommend Michelle Terrins.

As an amateur runner I've been lucky avoiding running related injuries. However I had the misfortune to dislocate my elbow following a fall in the bad weather of winter 2010/11. Having this injury meant that my sporting activities were non existent. In addition, following corrective surgery, my arm was restricted to straightening only 45 degrees max.
Not only did City Physio help my recovery, but Michelle worked with me to increase core stability through relevant exercises to prevent my arm and elbow stiffening up again. I/m now back to full training while continuing with the exercises and stretches.
Michelle's approach is professional yet friendly. Once she'd fixed the pain the sessions even became enjoyable thanks to Michelle's sense of humour!!

I had been suffering from back problems for a number of years, when quite by chance I visited Michelle at City Physiotherapy and I'm very glad I did. Michelle has such a wide range of knowledge and expertise, which she always ensures is fully up to date. You are made to feel so much at ease and there is never any pressure to make repeat appointments. I am now enjoying life again and its all thanks to Michelle. I would add that Michelle has a thorough understanding of hypermobile joints which is especially relevant to me and meant that she was able to tailor the treatment especially to my needs.
I couldn't recommend Michelle highly enough....fantastic!!!!
